Damn Highway Bump

so i'm cruising (70 mph's) along last night when I go over a slightly lower section of the road that adjust back to normal size within the cars length. My heart starts racing and my car starts vibrating (50-70 mph's). Immediately I pull over to check tire pressure and rims. Both seem fine. I reevaluate them this morning and find residue of where my wheel weights once were. Could they have fallen off with the jarring of the car? Because i've never had this happen.
I'm taking it in the morning to check the balance. You guys ever had this happen?

I do tire all the time at the dealership i work for. If the rim wasnt properly clean before weights were applied they can come off. If the weights are old the glue can seperate. The best way to prevent this is after a new balance put a bead of clear silicone around tge sticky weights.
