Little Question Regarding Halo's

Hey all, so a couple days ago I posted a question on my DRL's and my Halos.. So fast forward today, I found a local guy with the program to disable my DRL's. It came out good. The only very small issue is that when I turn off the car, it takes a couple of mins for the halos to turn off. I just wanted to know if that is normal, because when I did have my DRL's, my halos would turn off within 10 seconds. Not a big deal, Im just curious why it takes longer to turn off(maybe the wiring setup?).

They are supposed to turn off in like 5 seconds or so but they will stay on if the car was being driven long/hard. That will result in extra current/hot wires which will still power the angel eyes. Are they wired properly as per the link in my sig below?

Well to begin with, I did about a 40min drive until I came home and shut off the car and realized that they were still on. I also did go over your Angle Eye install guide and my wiring set up is identical to yours.

Mine usually go off in about 5-10 seconds, but I've noticed that once in a blue moon they've stayed on for as much as a couple of minutes, just to turn off again normally. I've had them on for two years with no issues now.

If your angel eyes are installed using the instructions that Umnitza gives you, the following will happen

If you connected the AE's to the interior foot well
- They will remain on for a little if you don't close and lock your door immediately upon exiting.
- They will dim and shut off within seconds as it follows suit to your interior lights.
- If it stays on longer than above (up to 10 min,) it is because the power wire from your ECU is still in use, usually after a long trip

Well after about a week having the angle eyes on, they started turning off immediately after turning off the car, so the problem went away. I guess they only stayed on the very first time after turning off the DRL.
