Does anyone know how to adjust the setting for the rear view mirror when going in reverse? My mirror adjusts really low, not useful..have somthing to do with the setting of the seat?
If the mirror tilts down when the reverse gear is engaged, that means that the mirror adjustment switch os on the left side. If you slide the switch below the knob to the right, it should stay put in reverse
So, you want the mirror to adjust when backing to observe curb and rear tire, but do not like the position the mirror uses and want the mirror to adjust to a different angle that works better for you?
As mentioned, this can be coded. Specifically, without coding, the mirror will point _way_ down--one position, like it or not, use it or don't. With coding, when in reverse, you can adjust the mirror to where you want it to be. Then, the next time you reverse, it will go back to the new position you've set.
I had whatever option enabled/coded to adjust the position of the mirror in reverse... however, it doesn't save for an extended period of time. For some reason it'll default back after so many times.
