UPDATE:

Alrighty, as of now everything is working properly, I don't know if it will stay that way... but it's working good.

Let me say that Dice is amazing. They sent me a whole new kit; trunk interface harness, radio interface harness, ipod cable, and Dice unit. I used the trunk interface harness instead of my radio side harness and replaced the Dice unit. Everything is working properly now. So I dont know what was causing the original problems, but I'm guessing it was the radio side harness. I still need to route the wiring underneath so it's out of the way but I have a lot of stuff to do so I'll do it later. Peace guys!

Thanks Tom! and thanks to Adam at Dice!

Good to hear. I have the same problems but mine is the CD harness version. Course, there is occasional chirping, it freezes, and then finally it locked up the K-bus. I'm shopping for another solution because there are too many little things not to look for a change.

Good luck on it.

Neil1138, I had the very similar problems after installing DICE Silverline on my 2007 x3. I am wondering if your problems were taken care of completely? Is there any update on your experience?
Thanks in advance for sharing...

Tom, can you help me out here? I order the DICE Silverline Unit from BSW. Received and installed yesterday.
This is the link of my problem descriptions, which is posted on bimmerfest BSW forum. Almost all problems Neil1138 described showed up with another day of experience with this new unit.

Thanks!

I'm still running strong. When Dice sent me all of the new parts, I switched to the trunk interface and yeah, everything is good
