Oil level sender/sensor, 27c3, 27cc, no start

I used my peake sensor and got the codes 27c3 and 27cc. I looked it up and saw a code for oil level sender. I bought and installed a new oil level sensor based on threads I had read. To be clear, tihs is the part on the bottom of the oil pan that is screwed in with 3 screws. I still have the same problem, same codes, but also now it won't start. My orange oil light comes on for a few seconds at start up, still. It started this morning, backed it out of the garage, forgot my coffee, shut car off, ran inside, now it won't start, turns over and dies out. I also have a vapor leak and full gas tank, bad gas smell, usually I don't fill it. Could one relate to the other? Any other fixes for oil level sender light? Also checked oil (replaced after changing the part) and it is reading the high end of full on the dipstick. Any ideas?
