Re: BMW 328ci WONT START!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP ME

Unplug your MAF and try starting, like already said.

If you don't know what something means, search here or use Google.

Go back to the basics, check for spark and fuel.

Step 1: Proof read messages before sending.
Step 2: Call AAA. They will tow your car to a shop of your choosing. I always have a list of indys should something happen to my car that I cannot fix
Step 3: Get a Credit Card Ready
Step 4: Debt. Welcome to owning an older BMW.

If you sprayed around the intake boot and it popped, then that tells me you have a tear in your intake boot...that it popped the intake boot off sort of tells me you didn't put it back on right either.

If the intake boot has a sizable tear in it...very common...that's where I'd start...replace the intake boot and make sure it's on right. While there, you might as well clean the TB too. If the boot isn't on, you'd probably have a huge problem starting the car. A small tear or minor vac leak the car can manage, but not a massive hole. The car knows it's lean, puts in a lot more fuel, but it doesn't really need that much fuel. Have you tried starting it with your throttle down to the floor--(maybe halfway down?)...which is how you start a flooded engine.

If that works, you need to come to one of my shows as payment!

hth...and a bump...and honestly, if that's not it...take it to a mechanic. You could be a couple hundred dollars away from having your car running. Could be a sensor...could be a fuse you didn't find.

Did you check your Kalim Fuse?

Hey well.i put the tube on tight and.started cranking it the rpm doesnt go past 300 while cranking so its not even bugging to start and the throttle pressed all the way doesnt do anything. Theres fuel pressure in the fuel line as i checked but the throttle doesnt seam to get my engine churning.
