You can't go wrong with any combination of the struts/shocks/springs listed above.

That said, if you want the firmest/lowest setup of the bunch, go with:

-E46 Bilstein B8 or Koni Sport (Yellow) Struts
-E36 M3 Bilstein B8 or Koni Sport (Yellow) Shocks
-H&R Race Springs

Which H&R race # .. #29484 will give me the most aggressive drop, or am I wrong?

H&R has some unclear numbers/naming conventions.

For an E46 without the factory sport suspension, the 29484's are considered the "Race" option.
For an E46 with the factory sport suspension, the 29484's are considered the "Sport" option.
For an E46 with the factory sport suspension, the 50484-8's are considered the "Race" option.

I had bilstein with h&r race springs on my e36 m3. It does give an aggressive drop in the front. The ride is bouncy as hell which led me to getting coilovers

^ The ride was bouncy because your dampers were not up to the task of controlling their aggressive spring rate. I personally run H&R Race springs, at first I had a slight bounce in certain conditions while on fresh E46 Bilstein Sports F&R. After a month or two I sold off my fresh E46 rear Billy Sports & bought E36 M3 Bilstein Sports,......problem completely solved under ALL conditions.

I have an 03 330Ci and I just put on the Koni STR.T/H&R kit, it's much lower than it was and the ride is not that much worse, previously had stock sport springs with KYB (base model) dampers. I hit speed bumps even when going VERY slow, but I like the way it looks, and I will say that the car is much smoother than an E9X that I drove from BMW, likely because of the RFTs

Very minimal bounce in some conditions with H&R race plus koni E36 M3 rears and E46 fronts. Set at medium for all shocks.

Once you've driven on them for that recommended 30 days & Fully understand how they react under certain conditions, then pull the rears & increase them a bit.

Then reassess.

I have the Bilstein Sport and H&R Sport (29484) combo, that's perfectly good for a DD application that you can also take canyon carving. On rough rides I get passengers complaining that it's bumpy.

I think the konis are on sale for significantly less than the bilstein's.. That and the adjustability were my determining factors.
