Yeah......don't drill another hole for sure. What you have is fine. Just make sure it's a head of where it's bent. The further the better.

How is this going so far ?

Got to wait til morning to pull anything. Had to take care of a few things before I got to focus on the car and ran out of daylight. I'll hopefully get up early enough to get at it before work. I will keep you posted and put up pics

So I finally got time to try pulling the front end straight. Been working like crazy!!! The fender just pulled out and nothing else moved, I put so much pressure on it I pulled the eye bolt straight!!! So I'm thinking a strap is the way I got to go :/

Yeah.....the eye bolt didn't have enough surface area.mamstrap might be better.
I'd still hook it to the fender and not the structure.

Essentially just cut a hole and slip it through?

I really appreciate your advice, it has helped me make decisions a lot easier than on my own. I am not exactly a novice either, just rather ask a thousand and one questions before I do something so it goes smoother than if I just wing it.

I'm thinking pull the old fender, check where the new one sits as well as the head light and go from there. Will be getting out the soldering iron to try and fix the mounts back to the headlight. Will get to it in the morning, weather permitting as it's been storming, or Friday if I don't have to work one of my other two jobs.

Alright man I made a Flickr account since I have time. Finally get to use the garage for a couple days since my douchebag step-dad and my mom went away for the weekend! He's the type of guy who is a selfish prick and I can't keep the car in the garage for more than a couple hours. So typically I've gotta run back and forth for tools if I need em. My strap around the support worked!!! Now I just have to do some tweaking. I'm going to order the bumper probably next Thursday, or put it on the road finally. Couldn't afford it this week thanks to excruciatingly expensive insurance! What do you think about these bumpers? I prefer #2 myself. I can't thank you enough Glhx seriously!

I would never put the m3 bumper on the non m car. I would do the second one. It looks better and cleaner. I bought mine from umnitza. The fit is good, you need to buy a rivet gun for plastic rivers from eBay. Get the kit because it comes with the right rivets for the bumper. These suppliers don't tell you that and your always on your own. You should also get the side skirts for the tech 2 as well.

I run the hamman fog light inserts so I didn't have to buy the duct work. They add to the car a lot. Khoalty has them.
And you got the pic posting down. That's helpful.

No reason for your dad to kick you out of the shop.....my dad would never hear the end of it.

I have no choice in the matter as far as the garage goes. Otherwise it'd be in there til it got done! I really like the second one, I have a regular rivet gun will the work for plastic rivets as well?

The pictures you're showing are a swayed upper rail. That needs to be pulled back to exact spec and requires a frame machine. Not something you can do at home.
I mean, I guess you could if you have a way to lash the car to the ground, a tram gauge, and the spec.

But this isn't 101-level work

I would also check that the lower rail is straight if the upper rail is that far swayed.

Metal rivet gun won't work on plastic

How does the car align in suspension area.

Drives just as it did before. It was a low speed accident so the damage is minimal. I actually have access to a frame machine if I need it but I'm not so sure that I do. Won't know until the bumper gets here.

If the car tracks straight and aligns fine. You pulled the top damage. The rest can be adjusted by slotting. It's not the right way.
If you have frame machine throw it up there. I probably wouldn't but it can't hurt. I think it just messed up the top part myself but novas advice is sound for sure
