I did a muffler delete on my 325ci. Remove the rear most muffler, and straight pipe. An exhaust shop can do it for minimal cost if your not up for the task. Ads decent sound, little cabin drone, and pops and farts when down shifting a little, which I love.

In Pa. it doesn't matter if a car has a muffler as long as it passes emissions. Pretty sure lots of cars have come from the factory without mufflers, like Fiat Arbarth and maybe the old Neon SRT4.
