Convertible trunk leaks.

I own a 2004 325 Ci and ive noticed when it rains heavy my trunk will become completely soaked with water. This concerns me due to the battery being in the trunk and i dont want it to crap out on me due to water damage. I was wondering what the cause of the problem is and how easy would it be to fix it my self? I read some where that it has to do with the drainage holes being clogged but I looked throughout the trunk and i couldnt seem to find any holes that would drain water out. Could someone tell me where these drainage holes are located and how i would go about un-clogging them? Thanks in advance.
