Replacing quarter window trim idea?

So the weather stripping on my quarter panel is pretty much worn out and needs to be replaced. I would love to just order a new one, but I cant seem to find one that is less than $100 per side. The black one is only $30, is there any way I could install the black ones and somehow attach the chrome piece to it? I have wind rushing into my car and I really need to fix this, just dont want to have to black out my trim or dump out over $200 in weatherstripping. Any ideas or help would be appreciated

This is the piece I am talking about***********:

Do you think I could somehow stick the chrome piece over the black? (maybe if I cut it?)

Nah, the adhesive is right on the black/chrome piece, not transferrable unfortunately. Sucks the prices went up, it was $40 a side for chrome when I did them. What a PITA diy
