No crank after first time connecting INPA

I am trying to get my laptop setup for coding and hooked it up for the first time today. I am obviously missing something because I loaded INPA and the only options were "Info", "Script" and "End", when I clicked on "Script" I got " Couldn't find INPA configuration fileC:\EC-APPS\INPA\BIN\..\cfgdat\Script.ENG" so I disconnected the cable to go look for answers. But when I went out to my car it won't crank!!!! all the lights come on with the key in position 3, but no starter action. I suppose it could be a coincidence and the starter is bad but i'm worried the INPA screwed things up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe the battery got run down when you had it hooked up. Did you check the battery voltage?

The battery has plenty of juice. I only had it plugged in a few minutes.

My Ride: is not yet fast.
I would have to say coincidence because INPA really isn't capable of bricking your car. A lot of people after me are gonna say battery and they're not wrong about it.
Your starter doesn't make a click at all? Is your car an automatic or manual. If manual, then your starter or starter solenoid really just went bad.

I think you were right. About the third time I went out to try things I cycled the key a few times and it finally cranked and fired. And it's started without issue since. So solenoid would make sense. My next move was going to be checking for signal to the starter. I'm glad I didn't screw up any modules but I just replaced the motor a month ago and I'm not looking forward to getting the starter back out with the intake manifold in the way.
And yes it's a manual.
Anyway thanks for your help.
