BMW E46 Missfire cyl (1-6) m52 (Solution)

Hello there'


I was whit this error in my M52 E46 323ci

check the errors over here:

---------------------------------------------------------------
DME -> E4/B2 - Ox.-s.control deviation, bank 2, too large
CB/B2 - Ox.-sensor control, bank 2, control limit
E3/B1 - Ox.-s.control deviation, bank 1, too large
CA/B1 - Ox.-sensor control, bank 1, control limit
EE/B4 - Misfire, cylinder 1
F2/B7 - Misfire, cylinder 5
F0/B5 - Misfire, cylinder 3
F3/B7 - Misfire, cylinder 6
EF/B4 - Misfire, cylinder 2
F1/B7 - Misfire, cylinder 4

I was almost going crazy with all those issues, lack of power, a lot of misfire, and low/high rpm

the solution? pretty easy:

before buying a lot of stuff: new coils, plugs, conectors, harness, fuel pump, etc, etc, etc

I try with the DISA valve

I buy a new one, and problem solved... NO errors


but wasn't a problem with the disa flap, was a problem with the disa vacuum

check this video, this guys explain the most common issues:



Don't waste too much money changing a lot of stuff... If youre having misfire in all the cyl, try with another DISA valve

Also my check engine go away with this new DISA valve, and the car runs smooth

We replaced the disa with a used one when BMW north came to help us out. It had been mentioned that maybe the o ring needs to be replaced because I got a lot of cold start misfires still happening.

I wonder if the fact that I had my Disa out and back in when I did my starter was the reason the first start had multiple mis-fires. A restart smoothed everything out and it hasn't happened since.
