Yep, had a look. Don't mean to sound picky but, LSB is not really my thing.
Looks like a great car though.

Long story, but basically the seller said he would sell the car to me, then he strung me along for 2 and a half weeks. Then wouldn't answer my phone calls, while i was offering to pay a deposit. I can only assume he sold it to someone else from underneath me.

It was poorly handled by the seller. And I was in disbelief at the behavior of some people.......

Don't want to sound to negative. Looking forward now to the next one to come along.

Fair enough. i quite like it.

My advice to you is to buy the most maintained car over your preferred colour. You don't wanna buy a lemon m3...

^^^ I second that advice.

Personally, I think that LSB M3 in Perth is a unicorn. Looks to be extremely well maintained.

'Complete' would have to be the car (color, interior, condition) that majority of buyers are looking for with every option they demand and nothing extra to spend on it.

Some good advice, when looking for any car, you wont have anywhere near enough time to go over the whole car for imperfections but one tell tale for me is: when the steering wheel, driver and passenger seats are near mint the car will almost generally be in impeccable condition.

Yeah, agreed on a price.
I went over to his place to look at the car, and went for a drive. Had a good chat with him, he seamed like a honest bloke.
Next day, he agreed to a price and I would give him a deposit.
Then it all went down hill, i got bs story after bs story, and he reasured me there were no problems and we were still going ahead with the sale. (that went on for 2 weeks)

I should also add, the seller was waiting for his new M4 to be delivered, which was 3 weeks away. And i just wanted to give him a deposit and get the deal done. Then he stopped answering my calls.
As you can amagine i was really pi@#ed off.

Sorry for the ramblings, i was really angry.

Cheers.

That's real dissapointing to hear, did you agree on the advertised price?
It think it was advertised for 39 something?

Or maybe there could of been something wrong with the car? Was it in good condition?

It was advertised for 39k, I offered a little less, but not much.

The car was in very good condition: 2 owners, full service history, paint and leather was mint, not a mark on it.

I am really disappointed.

Has the price of a manual M3 Held much over the last 5 years compared to the SMG cars? Are people still paying 10k more for a manual with for the same year and Km's?

10K more?
As an SMG can be stripped back to a stick shift for 4K tops, paying more if you really feel the need for a clutch pedal is questionable.
You know at one time everyone paid more for the Sequential Manual Gearbox.

They shouldn't be overs on the smg but short supply and high demand sellers can ask for a premium. if over MY03 probably a little more. They should start falling now that the e92 has depreciated to e46 levels.

Keep in mind paying 15K more for a car that has 60,000 vs one with 200,000 isn't really a bad deal at all + Under $1000 a month over a 5 year finance deal is peanuts nowadays considering the cost of living.

I think it is all supply and demand, manuals are very popular now and they are very rare. There is less than 10 manual cars for sale at any one time in Australia.
10k is probably a little high, i think it is more around the 5k mark.
