Switch paddles to different wheel

Hello guys, I'm buying a 325i SMG. And it comes with the facelift sport wheel. But I want to swap it up with an M steering wheel from my old E46. But my M steering wheel does not have paddles. How can I transfer them to the M wheel. I've searched the internet and forum but steel cant seem to find somebody do it. Can yall refer me to a post or video or tell me how to do the switch ? Thank you ***128522;

Lots of Cutting I assume.

Or you could sell the M wheel and buy a M wheel with paddles.

Sometimes I just scold the OP for being lazy. Other times I practice what I preach and do the work for them.

I think the OP is asking if you can add paddle shifters to the steering wheel itself.

The SMG steering wheel is different than non-SMG. You can't just transfer the shift paddles. As mentioned earlier, you're better off selling your steering wheel and getting a different one.
