Its a bit late to start one after 12yrs of E46 ownership, better late than never I guess. In the next few weeks/months I will be installing a few new toys, getting some tuning work done etc... thought it might make sense to start a thread to keep it organised.
It was a nice sunny day today, thought id take a few pics of my new wheels. Just wanted to share. These are 19" VMR V710s in gunmetal on BFGoodrich tires, thank you JB@VMR! Its just the first part of my 328's visual makeover, that it desperately needed for years.
I know my bumpers suck, I especially hate the front. I was looking for an SRS-tec b3 or mtech for the back and maybe switching the exhaust to a dual tip, kinda tired of the big a55 single tip.
ill admit it was a miscalculation on my part. they had difficulty finding a 3" inlet dual tip, they searched every brand. so i settled for this oval single tip... and now i hate it. belongs on a civic.
Thanks guys. No m3 bumper for me, but love the mtech2 look. Im planning to paint it myself, waiting for the weather to improve. Gave up trying to find a 3" dual tip, so im going to custom fab one myself later.
Also doing a full brake overhaul next week, stoptech front calipers, ss lines, flush etc so im very excited! Pics to follow.
I like the stock front bumper you have, not feeling the 19" wheels though. They look nice, just to big. And the exhaust tip would look better a a dual (staggered?) tip.
I loveeee the 710's! My fav. With the 19" wheels a drop may be in order to look better and a dual tip exhaust would look much better. I'm excited to see the new bumbler installed. Led tails would look good too.
Im actually on hr springs/bilstein sports, but its a bit high. I had 3 people in the car today... it looked slammed + amazing. I'll mess with it after i get the brakes done.
I removed one resonator and 3" pipe to the magnaflow muffler, but now im stuck with it. If I could go back, id make them install a single inlet/dual exit muffler.
The photos are great. The tint is tasteful. The headlights are nice. The corners could blend a little better. However, I would not change a single thing in ref. to the front bumper. I actualy love the stock as that is the same one I have as well. Granted all of these replies are opinions of personal taste. Either way, you have a very clean ride!

If you're looking for corner bulbs check out led automotive. I just picked up a set and they eliminate the orange and look pretty good too, especially with the led angel eyes. I got amber but they come in white too. That bbk is gona look niiiiice
