I am trying to purchase a used set of tires to install on my new rims.
Since I need a staggered setup I might end up buying 2 different type of tires for front/rear.
I am currently looking at a set of Yoko S Drives for the front and General Exclaim UHP for rears. How do you guys think those would work together? I don't track or drive aggressive.
Those are two completely different types of tires... I wouldn't recommend that combo at all. Can you get around? Sure. But the S.Drives are summer performance tires, and the UHPs are all-seasons if I recall correctly.
should be good, just make sure those two are the same type of tire. ill be running Falken 452's on my front and Hankook V12's on the rear till their fully cooked.
I believe that model is discontinued, and every source I've found online suggests its an all-season tire. General could name them anything they wanted, doesn't change the fact that they could be all-seasons haha.
Either way, if you are going to mix and match tires you should probably stick to either all-seasons or summers, and not mix the two.
I guess I will go new & stop wasting everyone and my own time on this foolish search.
