Are you breathing properly while you're lifting? Or does it feel like your head it's about to pop at the end of a rep?
My guess is you're holding your breath and creating "pressure" during your lift.... |

definitely breathing properly. i've even been focusing extra hard on breathing properly since the headaches started, but it doesnt help. thye're pretty intense; even this morning, my head still faintly hurts.

Put up 265lbs today, we will call that a natural PR.
I definitely feel I can go a little heavier.

What do you bench?
Haven't benched with a barbell in years, other than close-grip bench presses for my tris... But my dumbbell bench press from a couple weeks ago was 100lbs (each hand) for 10 reps.

I never really do flat db presses. I mix in some db flys on chest day, and dabble with incline presses but don't like them because they seem to hit the shoulders more. You've got me curious now.
The main problem I foresee having with that kind of weight is dropping it safely after I'm done. |
