-I ordered these bushings from VMW last of all the items I had to order for my car and they were the first to come in. They are on the West Coast and I am on the East.
-They were properly pressed and well lubed with what appears to be the good copper lube stuff
-Absolutely perfect fitment and took me about an hour. An air hammer, cutting wheel, or three-jaw puller is the only major tool needed to get the old metal sleeves off of the control arms. A few taps and a wiggle of the wheels and the new ones were in.
-I emailed Walt late last night because I lost the address and wanted to get this old carriers in the mail first thing this morning and I woke up to a quikly returned email. These guys don't mess around. Customer service was great!!
I've heard people say yes. I would assume that if you have had it aligned with bad bushings then the control arm wouldn't be centered inside the bushing at the time of the alignment. Now with new bushings it is centered, so yes it would be off some. I don't feel any pulling but I am gonna get it aligned anyway just to be safe. The reason I changed the bushings out (besides preventitive maintainence) was because the inside of my tires went bald so it would be a good idea for me. Plus it can never hurt, well maybe your wallet!!
hey alex...this is a bit off topic, but i sent you guys and email in reguards to a brake job and cooling sys overhaul...just thought i would make sure you knew
