I'm not expecting much from this thread, I don't think many people from the Indianapolis area are on e46fanatics.. I could be wrong but I'd like to see who is all from Indy and see what they have.
Ha ha, yeah, I'm about the same. I didn't look around enough, otherwise I'd have a ZHP now. But, I've been pretty happy with it so far, including all the maintenance I've done on it..
Not to hijack this thread, but I'm looking for a place on the northwest side to store a project bimmer and work on it for a while. Anyone know of a good place or anyone that might be able to help me find such a place? I live near zionsville autosports if that's of any help to anyone
Check Vaughn Motorwerks -- it's right at 421 and 465, behind the Chevy dealer. I'm not sure if they'd allow you space or not, but they're the biggest BMW shop in Indy.
Yeah i found them, they were willing to rent it but it wasn't cheap. I'll probably just clean out the second half of the garage and store it there, and use a buddies shop for the lift when i need it. On the same topic, I'm also looking for an e36 or an e46 for $2000 or less probably. Full rebuild, new motor and tranny is going in so it can be pretty beat up. Are there places to look besides craigslist that would fit that description?
Oh okay, I gotcha. That may be the best bet then, especially if you already have the space. For the E36/E46, I think Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace would be about the best bet, other than local ads and whatnot.
Yeah, there aren't too many modded cars.. only ricers seem to get modded here. There's a ZHP sedan around the north side exhaust, but that's about it. Most people with coupes up here are middle aged women.. lol
Just bought an 01 325Ci about a week ago :woot: and just saw an Indy thread, I'm in Lebanon by the way.
