Gotta agree with this. VMR has a great reputation, and they make very strong wheels as well. I've been running VMR wheels for almost 2 years now, with no issues. I highly suggest them in all respects
Both are great quality wheels. Alufelgen wheels are flow formed cast whereas VMR are gravity cast. FFC wheels were produce a stronger, lighter wheel in the end but ALFG wheels' prices reflects that.
VMR=Fail..
Alufelgen=Win
concave FTMFW! keep in mind im NOT running spacers.. id like to see a car with VMRs bull off a basically flush look w/o spacers...
and I like BOTH the alu's and the vmr's. It's all about your taste. there are plenty of pics of both setups. the choice is now yours GL and keep us updated
Christ! these weheels look friggin LARGE!!! but good. forgive me I come from a world of extra wide 17" and 18" are the norm, anything larger and you get :evil: (70% of the people reading this are probably like oh I was just on the vortex) But 19"'s look $$$ will be buying wheels come this tax return season and CSL Reps are on the board, just not as High as some of the other options. :thumbsup: Looking good guys
if you want concave & quality, OEM ZCPs wins.
if you want a replica, the Alufelgens are better made and looks closer to the real thing.
only reason to get VMR is if you want a 10" rear.
I have been looking at the VMR CSL 18' wheels for my e46 m3 and Just confused as to the wheels not balancing correctly and also paint chiping. Is this true. If anyone has these wheels and can let me know if they are well balance wheels for the price.
These wheels have been really popular and consistent choice for the past like 5 years! I'm sure you'll get a great set of wheels and if for whatever reason something goes wrong be comfortable knowing that ModBargains' relationship with VMR has always been a very good one and you'll get the needed support.
i had my VB3 with tires from VMR, well balanced, had a few imperfection on the finish (side of the spoke) but overall im happy with it.
