Assume you're looking for used? You might take a look at www.autobahnparts.com and www.bmrparts.com if that's the case. Forum classifieds, as well, but be careful with warped/cracked valve covers as they age.
I replaced the valve cover and the misfires and rough idle went away. Now I'm having the dreaded leans codes. I raplaced the valve cover gaskets; spark plugs; and smoke tested the car and no leaks; changed the maf; I also change a blck valve that was filled with oil(not sure of the name) and still running lean. What am I missing. I'm thinking of taking the car the dealer and see if they can diagnose the problem. Please help!!!!!
This is confusing, you replaced the valve cover and now you need to replace it again? Or do you mean you replaced the valve cover gaskets and now suspect the actual cover?
If I understand correctly, I think the OP found a valve cover soon after inquiring on 8/2, replaced it, and now has more issues persisting after the replacement.
OP - read jfoj's threads on these issues if you haven't already.
I replaced the cover and the GASKET; that took care of of my random misfires. Now the car is running lean for some reason. I changed the plugs; replaced broken vacuum hoses, the mafs, and smoke tested the car, and still running lean. Not sure what else to do.
