Hello from Phoenix.
Looking at an E46 in Arizona to add to the stable.

Appreciate any referrals for an Indy BMW specialist in Tucson, AZ.

History:
Had a Z3, and two 325i. (edit: Oh, and that worthless POS Cooper Clubman S)
Currently a Frontier, 560SEC and hopped up 240z.

Glad to be here.

Mini was just clunky in its mechanical and software execution. FWD with a turbo is a tricky to put power down. Visibility was rough.

Found an indy in Tucson to do a pre-buy, easier than me driving down for initial inspection.

Will delte name from sig. I have it in for other forums (Some aviation forums require full name).

I do fly. Own a Yak 50 and my company has an Mu2 Turboprop. I have traditionally been more into playing with airplanes, but lately cars have my attention again.

We rebuilt the Yak engine with high compression pistons, Total Seal Rings, fancy car valves and such.

The Mini is an ok car (for a girl). Putting down power from low speed was frustrating with the wheel snatch. THe logic of the controls is just goofy. The visbility sucks. The seat belt always gets jammed between the door and seat. However, driving up windy high altitude roads was a blast as the Turbo seems to maintain Sea Level type power so its working a lot harder and feels neat. You can slice and destroy any traffic jam in a Mini. Its a real go-cart. The tires are noisy.

RWD>FWD.
