I am getting a set of Schrick 264/248 camshafts installed, and this are the NA spec ones versus the 254/248 meant for FI. If I add a supercharger later will these cams work fine with the supercharger, will I lose any power?
when a car is supercharged, it does not have a problem putting that much effort into getting air into the motor due to it being force fed. What you want to do it get the burnt fumes out asap. A more proper layout for FI apps would be 248/256 which is offered from Schrik, and as well as from Technik (being the same). But to get to the point ,I would say it wouldn't be efficient to use does cams in a FI app due to the stock timing and the valve overlap that NA cars have.
