I bet it had low coolant I doubt that angel eye wiring could cause this much fire most likely it was zero maintenance

Was sad until I noticed the m3 side gills. Good riddance.

My bet goes to crappy angel eyes with crappy installation (heatshrink is luxury for the electricians, good old PVC tape).
Typical E46 over here: Import from UK with 80xxx miles, unknown history, 90% 318ci, M6 replica wheels either 4x4 or scrapping the road style, misaligned quad exhaust, M3 side grills, E36 replica mirrors often not aligned looking like a wierdo, CFFL angel eyes from madeinchina.com to complete visuals. HIDs in halogens for the extremes  This is the 2nd E46 that I see on the side of the road this month (doing 600 miles/week). Previous one was with blown tire and M6 replica wheels which literally destroyed the rear quarter panel of the car (looked as if there was an explosion)
