Best PS3 Headset?

I've had no problems whatsoever. Just ordered and plug and play. I never did any updates or anything like that. I play on the 360/pc and no problems at all.

if you can get an older style a40 do it.. the 2013 ones have a cable that allows you to disconnect it from the headset but the thing is the damn thing always pops out making it sound horrible.
If you got the money get the A50's (Currently own)

I've never had it come out. I've have it pull my head over and never pops out lol. But your right there's not much difference form old to new ones. New have u can disconnect the cord and upgraded amp. Other then that it's the same. I think...

not to hijack but,are these ps3 specific or will they work with 360?

wireless set might be sweet for skyrim

Personally don't like the turtle beach at all. Poor build. A40's will work with anything.

They work VERY well

Admittedly, no I haven't, but it's still funny to me to refer to something sitting on my head as 3.1, 5.1, etc. when all of the sound is coming from one of two places, generally speaking.

So you've had the a40 and a50 and find the latter to be better? Given that I play a good bit of call of duty, ill spend the money for the superior product.. I just want to get the one that is better and I've seen contradictory reviews on both sides (some like 40 others 50)

Long story short my brother owned the older A40 which made me want to get one so i got the newer 2013 one
But with my bad experience i went with the A50
My brother is now looking for an a50 himself

Pros: wireless, rechargeable, looks awesome and comes with a stand, able to use on any system that can support a fiber optic cable(ps3 xbox pc) and the sound is just amazing.
Con:expensive but i never regretted spending it

Your feedback has me totally gridlocked.. I hear some mentioning the A50 to have as high quality of sound as the A40s and then see others who write that they hiss (from the wireless connection) and that they can never come close to a wired sound quality
