2005 330i bi-xenon with Denso Slim Ballasts

The ballasts went out on my nice on AL headlights (right after getting new bulbs...).
Long story short we got potted Denso Slim ballasts (right wattage, right connector etc).
Everything great, except now I have no high beams. It's like the shutter isn't getting any power. Everything I read on these(wasn't much) said it should be pretty straightforward. (Had some retrofitting to do but not much).
Does anybody have any ideas? Something somewhere isn't plugged in right or getting power and I'm not sure what it is. Everything appears plugged in correctly.
Do we need to retrofit wiring to another plug to get it power?
