No power accelerating, rough start

I need help! I've got a 2000 323i e46 automatic and it has been a pain. My symptoms are:

1- if it hasn't been started in several hours, it idles rough, pops or tings, and dies. It does this until you hear the fan prime stop.
2- if I stop at a stoplight for a few minutes, it has very little power at first, then powers through it.
3- I have 1188 and 1189 codes on CEL.

What I've done so far, replaced the throttle body, taken all intake boots off to inspect (no breaks). Took out the idle control valve and cleaned it. Cleaned the MAF. Replaced spark plugs. Added injector cleaners..

After I took boots off and cleaned ICV, it still sputtered a bit, drove neighborhood fine, but when trying to get on the freeway and accelerate, it cut off power at about 50 and 3k rpm, wouldn't go any faster and my transmission warning light came on. I've heard that can be triggered by sensor problems. If I shut it off a few minutes, that light goes away and I'm back to my normal problems. Feels like a fuel or air problem. I'm thinking fuel pump or filter, catalytic converter, o2 sensors.. idk. Anyone with this same problem that successfully fixed it. Please help!

Your fuel pump is on its last legs!!!! Buy a Siemens/VDO pump. Don't buy a crappy aftermarket pump. The cheapest place to buy the pump is bmaparts. Also, you need to replace the tank seal and the fuel filter. Don't throw parts at the problem!
