Yeah I'm gonna fix it just haven't had time yet. It doesn't get driven everyday tho. These cars are a special breed and I'm not familiar with them yet. I'm use to working on American cars where things are simple lol. Thanks for all advice it will be getting fixed this weekend

I do. Lol. I almost bought a 66 continental with vacuum locks and all that. I will own one some day..... Its crazy what they used to run off vacuum.

See Mango's thread on cooling at the top of the page...and read it...study it...know it. When you feel cold inside, you'll know enough to fix it yourself.

Also...do not drive your car anymore until you fix it. Tell us more about the car and the overheating. Miles, work done before. Are you losing fluid? How far did you drive with it in the red? Etc.

My Ride: 05 330i convertible
My exact symptom when I was low on coolant, due to a slow leak in my evap tank. When my thermostat went, I got periods of hot air, then cool air, but it was not related to higher engine RPMs.
