My Ride: 2001 BMW xiT
F/S 2001 325 xiT - manual - all service records
2001 BMW 325xi Touring -- the holy grail of German wagons: AWD. Stick. Wagon.
This BMW wagon has been exceptionally cared for throughout its pampered life, and it shows. The interior is perfect with no tears in the seats, or stains on the carpet. Everything is original, and works as originally intended. No warning lights, rattles, missing pieces. For full listing, see: http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/5788810555.html
Mechanically, this car is as close to perfect as you would find in a new car. I have all service records from Day 1, which show that no expense has been spared to keep this BMW wagon in beautiful condition. Regular oil changes at specialty BMW shops (read: $130/oil change) ensured that any potential mechanical issues were spotted early by BMW experts, and promptly and preventatively taken care of. Service records show nearly $25,000 of maintenance over the course of its life.
In the past twelve months, I have had the following done:
- radiator hoses and expansion tank for A/C
- new front sway links
- replace drive shaft at front axle
- replaced brake sensors
- oil change (X2)
- replaced rear shocks and mounts
- replaced power steering hoses and expansion tank hose
Manual transmission is perfect, clutch is smooth. A/C blows cold. No smells or idiosyncrasies. This is just a perfectly maintained BMW wagon that has been owned and maintained by BMW enthusiasts for its entire life.
Exterior shows some wear and tear, but still shines. There is a dent on the front passenger fender and a small area of corrosion where the passenger rocker panel meets the rear wheel well, but it's just some surface corrosion.
I have all original books that came with the car, including window sticker. Two sets of keys, plus valet/wallet key and non-electronic key.
