How to keep angel eyes ON upon unlock (and only shut off upon lock)

Hey guys! So I've been searching the forum for a while and but haven't found what I'm looking for.

I will will getting some angel eyes soon I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions to accomplish what I'm trying to do. I want the AEs to fade on once the car is unlocked. I've seen a lot of people tap into the foot well lights, but the problem with that is the foot well lights usually fade out within 30 seconds of unlocking the car, and therefore, the AEs would fade out as well. Is there anyway to keep the AEs on as long as the car is unlocked? Or in other words, is there a wire that goes "hot" and stays "hot" when the car in unlocked?

I know that you can tap into the accessory wire, but that would require you turning the key to position II. I've seen some Jeep wranglers with aftermarket AEs that do this and I was wondering if that is possible on our cars as well.

Thanks!

good question. my orion v4s are tapped into my accessory wire and act pretty funky sometimes. id say about 25% of the time, they don't come on at all upon unlocking. same with my interior leds. id like to know more as well.

From the wiring that I have done, doesn't look like it can be done in my opinion. I have an on-off switch but it's regulated by the relay so what you are trying to accomplish won't work.

I was skeptical as well but I was hoping there was a way to do it that I wasn't aware of. Wish it was possible.
