Feeling a lot of heat from the engine

Hey guys so the last few days I've noticed while driving that there's a lot of heat coming from where my pedals are. A lot more than I've ever felt before. I noticed it when I was driving on the freeway. The only light on my dash is the windshield washer light, and everything seems normal. Oil temp has never gone above the center.
It's just starting to bother me seeing that ive never felt so much heat coming through until just recently.

Any ideas?

Use the AC foot vents and it will go away.

Your 323i has an oil temp gauge?

Did you buy the car over the winter? I see you have been a member since November. It's been unseasonably warm recently in issaquah.

I'll give this a try, I never do have the foot vents on. Thanks!

Yeah it has an oil temp gauge and it's always been normal, never even a little high. I bought my 323 in October and I did move down to Fairfield, CA in December. It could be the outside temp messing with me, but I usually notice it at night time which is why I found it weird.

Actually, my mistake I don't have an oil temp gauge I was thinking of the engine temp gauge. So the engine coolant gauge is always normal
