I just took the passenger FCAB off and it completely disintegrated. Removed with my bare hands. This one however looks to be in great shape. Unfortunately, no service history. Can you tell just by looking at it if a FCAB is pretty new? (fluid underneath is PB blaster)
Hard to tell from the pictures. You should clamp a vise grip onto the fcab and torque around on the bushing. Should be somewhat firm and no slop. If it has slop then they need to be replaced.
They appear so. An easy way to tell is have someone watch the front wheels at low speed while you hit the brakes. A worn bush will allow significant rear movement of the tires
I'm pretty sure it's new. In any case it's definitely newer than the passenger side.
Nonetheless, I have a drivers side one so I'll replace if I need to.
