registered, plan to run the M3 tomorrow as well (thanks for the offer Azzy), although, after my performance at the last autox, i'm not sure i can do better than said mini.
track day went very well, i lopped a good 2.5 ish seconds off my average lap times, that's good, still not fast enough to be on the podium though.
autox went pretty well too, although my competition wasn't that vast, so i took passengers =) still got 1st. it was a fun course, as it was not very technical and was pretty fast, which meant it was short, but still pretty fun, not many DNF's or reruns meant the day went without too much delay.
it was fun... and sucked at the same time... if i had monsterous amounts of power like some of the other competitors i'd have had fun too because the course had decent design... it just sucked watching myself fall 2 seconds behind azlan in the long straight the course had every run.... 4 seconds or so to the bigger HP cars... overall fun.... but still lame
lol i was very sloppy at the autox... managed to get a time in the 40's but coned it... that would have probably placed me where i usually am in points. oh well... i definitely think i'm ready to move to a set of slicks... casualty from this weekend... my car is splitterless on 1 side. damn cone won that battle...
also we'll see how long it takes for mr cobalt to realize that he received surprise buttsex courtesy of his favorite DSP competitor .....
yeap... that's the point... him not running DSP made him lose the overall 1st place trophy to me...... i don't know if he can do anything about it at this point
Here are some pics of the progress so far. Today he's planning on plumbing the PS cooler, hydroboosted master cylinder, heater hoses, radiator hoses, AC lines, oil cooler and oil filter relocation, etc.
