Hi All,
Unfortunately I live in a state were the front license plate is enforced almost every time I park in the city (Portland, 3 tickets later...) So, I picked up a front license plate holder for my '03 330i with the M tech II bumper, I think its the same for the regular sedan bumper as well. But like most of us I don't want to drill into the bumper. So, I didn't. It's basically held in by the clips that held the license plate delete strip in place. It seems pretty secure, if I pulled hard enough on the bottom I could rip it out, but I don't think 70-80mph wind necessarily will, but wind can be pretty strong. I might throw some double sided tape underneath it this weekend, for added piece of mind. Thoughts? I would rather not have to sit in the DMV for 2 hours again to get a replacement if I lose the plate.
