BimmerWorld 3.5" Race Exhaust

Hey guys,

Does anyone here have experience running the BW 3.5" race exhaust for their turbo applications? Here's a link http://www.motoiq.com/MagazineArticl...o-testing.aspx

I don't question any power gains as that seems pretty straight forward. I'm more curious as to any sound clips or any comments on drone complaints in the car? I'm sure there's a very noticeable difference between the NA sound clips and turbo.

Note: The link has one on the inside, would like to hear an outside clip if it exists.

Thanks,

~Anthony

I have that exhaust with a supercharger and stock catted headers. The Drone would kill if this was a daily for me. I don't have a sound clip, and not sure how long it would take to create one.... so don't wait on me for that, i'll try.

Buy the BW Y pipe and make your own 3.5" exhaust. Ended up saving several hundred even with farming out the fabrication.

Used a giant big block muffler to shut up the stroked S54.

The OTS BImmerworld 3.5" exhaust (both race and street) is way too loud for my ears and banned from a couple of local tracks - no go for me.

The drone on the freeway is mind numbing.

I think it would be a pretty good setup for a turbo car. I'm interested in the max psi turbo. They advertise their 3 inch single exhaust with quad tips for $1600. For about $1800, you could have the bimmerworld 3.5 inch street exhaust and carbon fiber bw diffuser. The street exhaust is the one you'd want because it bolts up to a "section 1" or downpipe if you're turbo'd.
