Shop inflated tires 44 front, 37 rear. What tire pressure do you recommend?

Hello Everyone,

I have a 2003 BMW 330CI with Barum tires 225/40 R18 all around. It says max inflation pressure 51 psi. I usually do 35 all around. But yesterday I had my tires rotated at the shop. And they inflated the front tires to about 44 and the rear tires to about 37. What tire pressure do you recommend that's best for my car? Thanks a lot

people like different pressures for different reasons.

I usually run 35 psi all around for my set-up and driving style.

I would start with the pressure stamped on the plate in the door and go from there. I liked running 34psi all around.

My Ride: slower than yours
25 psi all around.

When I go 100mph, the air expands and makes it 32psi because science.

Sounds like they don't know what they are doing. Did they give any context to why the fronts were so high ?

Have a 330CI vert with staggered wheels and while at dealership for airbag recall tires were inflated to 32/38

Does the car have a staggered tire set up. I own a 2001 330Ci with the staggered tires and I run 34psi up front and 36 out back. Seems to be a good combination of comfort and performance. But you should try various pressures to find your sweet spot.

Anything from 32-38 normally, and depending what I'm doing and tires. I've ran 42-44 for fuel economy, it helps. Most often 36psi all around, because I like even numbers lol

I run 34 all around (same exact size tires on my wife's 325) -- gives the firmest ride without the risk of going above max PSI.

I run 34/40 on the ZHP (as opposed to the 32/38 recommended by the door sticker).
