Re: Control Unit self-test, torque manager monitoring Code help!

I pulled this code twice so far in the past couple weeks, my symptoms are while driving, my EML, BRAKE, DSC come on and then the car goes into limp mode, this code pops up, no SES light..was this happening to you?

I just started getting this code too. It always happens while in deceleration, EML and goes into limp mode. On restart the EML goes out and the throttle comes back to life.
Has anyone figured out what is the cause?

No, I'm stumped. I replaced both of the TPS and still going into limp mode.

So its been a few years since I threw it. Never quite figured it out. I had it scanned on a V1.4 Scanner and on an Autologic @ TTFS and couldn't find a fix (even reset all adaptations on the engine). However, I narrowed it down to what seemed to trigger mine.

It usually came on and went into Limp mode when I was driving at a low RPM (below 3k), going in the neighborhood of 25-35 MPH but in a high gear (typically around 4th-5th gear) and then I pressed on the gas, around 1/2 WOT or more. Example: I am coasting in 4th, around 30 mph, to reduce speed before a stop in the distance, but suddenly I have to increase my speed (unexpected lane change etc). I don't down shift to increase my RPMs, but instead press on the gas. As I press on the gas, it would trigger Limp mode and I wouldn't be able to go above 25 mph in any gear. Luckily with mine, all I would need to do is stop, turn the car off, sit for maybe a minute, and then turn it back on and it would be back to normal.

Sorry I couldn't ever figure it out. It never progressed to anything worse than this so it was challenging identifying the problem without replacing a crap ton of parts.

For me it was a torque value that was exceeding a stock threshold. Once the threshold was tweeked by my tuner the fault no longer occurs.
