People say that the younger generation doesn't care about cars, but F&F being one of the highest earning series says otherwise. Maybe the younger generation just can't afford to have cars. Whatever it is, its box office success makes me happy

F&F hasn't been about cars since many moons ago, it's just a heist type movie series at this point.

Definitely turned into an action movie, not a car movie

I think one movie theater full of crying FF fans was enough last year.

Is this true? I wouldn't pay $13 to see any FF movie.

I've paid in the past and will pay again here next week. Thankful for $10 movies in potato land.

You are correct, although I don't know who gal Gadot is.

I saw FF1 and FF2 when they first came out.

This has more in common with M.A.S.K than the first movie. That's what happens when you suck the teet until nothing but blood and mammary tissue come out.

God, I saw an advanced screening of Fast 8 last night, and it was BAAAAAAD! Seriously, Paul Walker is probably rolling over in his grave right now..

The storyline had more holes than Swiss cheese, and the "car sequences" were so over-the-top. If you thought the airfield scene in FF6 was bad, just wait!

I did a quick review of it here if you're interested: http://www.guysgab.com/movie-review-...f-the-furious/

It looks bad! I'm going to read your review. Thanks for that! I have a soft spot for the first movie, but that's because it was relevant to what I was into at the time. This movie will probably be the worst of them all.

I've let go of the premise of the original films and can't wait for some ridiculous, action adventure, explosion riddled, tits and ass filled, one line quipping, mindless fun. I can understand a bit of disappointment however do think they've been on this track for quite a while now. The first one will always be a "classic" for the series and I'll have a love for what it was.

Good call. I went and saw the recent XXX/Xander Cage movie and I figured that it could have just as easily been another installment in the F&F storyline (which is not really a compliment). There's not much point in thinking too much about what the movies are "about." If you like the dumb action and far-fetched storyline and vaguely homoerotic man-posturing, then you'll enjoy them. If not, then it's probably best to stay away.
