No more VMR V703's?

I have been looking/waiting for over a month to purchase a set of V703's and I am being told that they are out-of-stock and may not be produced again. I have tried three separate well-established vendors. One vendor wrote: "We have exhausted our efforts in attempting to source them from any North American/European market. It seems as if this part has no remaining stock and is no longer in production."

So what is the deal here? Are they gone forever and I should find something else? Or should I wait and see?

Just go with a set of CSL reps from ModBargains for half the price.

I wanted to shell out the cash until I found myself in the same situation.
