Audio City is a legitimate company. It is a bit odd that there's really not that much info on the actual wheel company, KOG, though. Why don't you contact Audio City and find out what the load rating is of those wheels? Anything over 500kg per corner should be enough to support the weight of an E46.
I should have asked about the wheels instead of the shop. My bad.
The Kog wheels are on the Alibaba site, the Chinese company. And the link for ordering again, goes straight to Audio City. There's no other information online at all. The wheels look good though. I'd rather have some independent information vs. the only shop that sells them telling me the specs.
Honestly, not all Chinese companies are bad, and I would assume Audio City would like to protect their rep so they wouldn't want to jeopardize that by dealing with a shady manufacturer. Give Audio City a call and see what they say.
I did call them. They really didn't have much to say. I'd just be more comfortable if there were more information other than someone's verbal information. In this day of technology, there should be at least some consumer information online, like reviews from others that have used them here on E46 or elsewhere. But there's zero info.
Yea if the info is slim, and Audio City couldn't point you in the right direction, I'd probably just keep looking. There's a more well known company that makes wheels very similar to the one you linked to. The company and model name escape me at the moment, but I'm positive it's out there.
I've always thought that OE style wheels always look best....
