Things are moving slowly. Some parts have shown up, but not too much yet. Just waiting for stuff to arrive and making a lot of decisions on engine stuff in the meantime.

awesome build, i remember when i used epoxy for my plates a few years ago many people questioned it and thought i was crazy think its better than welding.. ahhaa.... my next swap will be an LS e30... in due time

I started googling install instructions since the ones that came with the kit were a bit confusing, and came across one or two people swearing by panel bond. Then I started googling "panel bond bmw subframe" and kept finding more and more people supporting it. It made sense to me but I still wasn't convinced. Finally, I made a phone call to a good friend of mine who is a body tech, who said he uses that stuff almost daily and lots of OEMs are requiring it for use over welding (Cadillac even specifies it for use on frame rails instead of welding). Combine the obvious strength of it with the other benefits (more surface area bonded then welding, doesn't degrade the rust protection, 0 chance of burning through or having an improper weld, easier to apply upside down, etc) and it became somewhat of a no brainer.
