Is it any different to buy it from best buy? I'm looking to switch to Tmob at the end of this month

Don't think so, since it's carrier unlocked. BB does only sell the VZW version, but that only means the bootloader is locked, which doesn't really matter on a Pixel.

I don't see why you couldn't just buy one and put your Tmo SIM in.

I ordered one and got it within a few days. I think that if they're backordered you can be put on the notification list so you get an e-mail when they're back in stock.

It has been a great phone so far. I'm glad I got it.

Didn't you get one from Project Fi? They seem to have more stock, unless it's a 128gb version. Those are mythical creatures at this point.

I just ordered it off the Google website. I did order a GoogleFi SIM but that was an add-on (free) to the regular purchase.

Nope. Mine is just the 32GB. I'm only using about half of that.

Mine is 32, just a couple days ago it said it was getting full and prompted me to get rid of 5 gigs of pictures and videos in Google photos that had been backed up already. Totally automatic, pretty nice.

So, I just picked up an XL, after my LG G4 bootlooped (within days of my old man's doing the same thing).

Awesome phone so far! Need a skin to protect the rear glass, and make it a bit grippier, but am loving the phone so far.

It's not the size of the GBs, it's how you use it.

....it's all about size though.

LG will fix your bootloop, then you can at least sell it and offset some of the XL cost.

I had my Pixel XL for about 2 weeks, then got the fatal error on the camera. Lovely. Luckily it was determined to be a hardware failure and I'm getting it swapped for a new unit. I'm actually going to change to the non-XL size while I'm at it since I played with it in the store and liked it a lot better in terms of size.

Love the phone, but I sure hope the next one doesn't have issues too. If I have multiple Nexus/Google phones failing on me (1 Nexus 5X, 1 Pixel XL) I may have to look elsewhere, unfortunately.

I spoke with them today. Call them, they'll give you a repair order number, and even send out a FedEx prepaid waybill.

I don't actually know what that is. I will have to go read about it.

EDIT: I will just wait until the actual ready-for-prime-time update shows up.

Hell no, at least not on my primary phone. If I had a second device then I'd consider it.
