If you really want a wrangler and can't wait another year, 2017 will be the best year to get discounts on a rarely discounted vehicle. Almost everyone will be waiting for the 2018.

Will you guarantee they will have a blue one?

Also, should I worry about getting shouldered bolts for the lower shock mounts? I though it was pretty dumb that Jeep didn't already do this.
No the shocks are fine. As for the endlinks, get the cheapest OEM replacements, I think made by Crown Automotive, those are fine.

Hydro blue has been discontinued. Acid Yellow, Chief, and Xtreme Purple are coming, late availability. Thats how jeep rolls, they make hot colors, then chop them off, keeping residuals high and colors rare. They did the same sh!t with the orange that I loved, which is why I have the dune now. Hopefully gecko green or something like it will be available on the JL.

This is the color

Production of said color will begin December 2016, so you MAY be able to order them now (order banks opened in Sept), not 100%.

Cool. Will look into. Assuming they will release all the available colors soon?

When they say "late availability" they usually mean december, so they should be available, and order banks might be open for factory orders.

Our special order arrived last Friday!

2017 Rubicon. White with Saddle Leather, NAV, Upgraded Stereo and LED headlights and fog lights. Thing is pretty damn slick!

Oh, and our 2015 with 47,000 miles ended up costing us $3,700 to drive for 26 months with the price they gave us on the trade in....

That's great to hear about the headlights- it's criminal that they can sell a vehicle in this day and age with such useless stock halogen headlights.

I may need to buy new foglights - I have the Morimoto XB LEDs, and don't find them very bright at all. (although, I have a 50W HID retrofit with Osram Nightbreaker bulbs, so wonder if they just look dim in comparison?).

Are they the JW Speakers on the new Jeeps, or are they OEM'ing someone else's lights?

The new lights are Jeep's own, they are not JWs.

Finally got new tires! Duratrac 285/70R17's.

Next up is a winch and to replace these dog sh!t headlights.

Also, can one of you recommend a speedo calibrator? I'm looking at the AEV procal, but keep seeing Superchip's model.

I use a Superchips and love it. Can program a host of other things too, and I like the display, rather than fiddling with DIP switches.

I think the superchips unit does some more, but, it's not "flashproof" from dealerships. AEV is. I personally run the AEV unit (but the time, it was the only unit on the market)

Good to know. I'll do some more research after the family leaves today. So it's basically $160 ish and never use it again from what I've read?

Can calibrate tire sizes, turn TPMS on and off, reprogram it, cel light clearing, drl lights on and off, high idle programming for winch use, etc. it's also easily sellable.
