Only 19K Miles on 255/35ZR18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport TPC Spec

I do mostly freeway driving and in 13 months I've driven 19,000 miles.

Is it normal to get only 19K miles out of a pair of (255/35ZR18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport TPC Spec)

My front tires (225/40ZR18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport) that I replaced at the same time are still in really good shape.

I had a full alignment done when I installed the 4 tires that I bought from Tire Rack and the wear on the rear tires is even all the way across.

I don't understand how I could need new rears already.

Thanks for any suggestions/advice.

Yes that falls within what you could expect. Time to buy new tires.

Why are the Rears in so much worse shape than the Fronts? I would think if anything (with the weight of the engine) it would be the other way around.

I am not a fan of mixing tires, plus i don't know what your looking for next. Call the tire rack guy that supports us, he could give you some good ideas.

Do you like to hit the gas in the lower gears where the torque multiplication is higher? Like off the red light, for example. I'm not talking about burning rubber, I mean like half throttle or slightly more on takeoffs. Or another example, smashing the gas in second gear to run a quick rip to whatever.

What's your driving style? I thought people were getting a lot more out of these tires.

I get on it pretty good and have been known as having a heavy foot.
