I have NCS Expert here in the Charlotte area. How far into VA are you?

Hey boost it would probably take me like 2 or so hours to get to you. I'll keep this in mind as I work all of the time. I'm in little area called Wise County. I wish you were just a little closer. I'm gonna try tomorrow when I get off work to do the EWS to IKE and see if that changes anything. I'm hoping that will be the fix. I had thought from the beginning that the cluster was ok and that it is something else it's not jiving with.

Honestly I would be kinda happy to find something blown or burned just to get to the root cause.
Your car is still drivable, right? So no rush to take it to the stealer. Patience on this will get you victory.

I saw your post that there is no obvious circuit damage. That's good news.

Did you ever save the IKE memory to a file using PA Soft? Just in case it's needed later...

Ohh yeah she drives fine nothing going on there. I hear you on that i'm gonna do everything I can to fix it myself before going to the dealer. I have the stock IKE saved. I did that before messing with the temp mod. I really appreciate your guys help thus far. Hopefully that EWS to IKE might do the trick we shall see tomorrow evening.

I think there are a few things to try on your IKE.
- recalculate EEPROM checksum
- load VO from EWS
- flash in the saved EEPROM contents
- reset coding to defaults using NCS Expert

Should probably post your lastest PA Soft log that shows the IKE's HW and SW versions. Getting details will help us sort this.

I will post that tomorrow to give you some more info. I did do the recalculate EEPROM checksum. I don't have NCSExpert though. I'll get you everything tomorrow once I get off work and we can go from there. Thank you!

I see an error on the IKE screen. I thought you mentioned there were no errors?

Post the whole log file. That will show everything including the error codes on each ECU.

See all those error codes in the ECUs complaining they cannot talk to the IKE? He's borked that's for sure. I would try to write back its memory from a saved copy.

BaliDawg you sir are a saint that done the trick my friend!! Thank you for helping me out with this I really appreciate your effort.

(EDIT) I'm not sure why but I tried that same thing days ago and it did not work. It did this time which I don't care why it didn't the first go around. It works now that is all that matters.
