That's a great looking combination with the concave profile in the rear. How much rolling/pulling did it take to make the et35 work in the rear?

Thanks SilverMayn, yes car was sapphire black but after I paid for an overzealous detail in which most of the clear coat was apparently removed the paint quickly failed. Looking at having most of the car repainted (roof, hood, both bumpers) I decided it was time for a change. BMW PhoenixYellow has always been a favorite of mine and not available on the sedan... so, had some M3 rear flares welded in and had her painted. Happy with the outcome and plenty of room outback to run the 18x9.5 et35 arc8s so much so I threw 15mm spacers out back with my 255/35 tires.

265/35 18

Current scca stx rules allow 9" rim with 265 max street tire width. No tire options in 17" so have to go 18".

Anyone make this setup work on a non-m? Car is an 04 330ci on hr cup springs and will get fixed camber plates for 2017.

I'm looking at the 18x9" et42 with a 265/35 tire as the ideal option. Only fender rolling is allowed, no stretching. What will it take to fit this setup?

TIA, Nick

2nd

I'm trying to decide between going with 17s or 18s on my wagon. I'd like to have a good combination of a fairly aggressive square setup that's still comfortable, without having to roll the fenders.

My touring is sitting on stock,
non-sport package suspension.

bimmernate, are you running any spacers?
If you were running 255/40/17 tires, would they rub?

That's actually pretty nice for 17's. After putting on the 18's I kind of wish I had 19's.

no spacers. From what I understand, there are certain brand tires that are 255s that wont rub, but I dont know which ones. For the most part, 255s will rub unless you roll your fenders. 245s are a perfect fit on the 9 inch wide wheels, i don't feel the need to have 255s and they look pretty meaty as is

i felt the exact opposite. The ride was harsh on the heavy 18" wheels (style 135) I had. 17s feel way nicer. You don't want 19s.

Got mine today!

Just checking in.

Wanna thank the Apex team with your expertise. Always loved the look of 19s on slammed BMWs. Was thinkin of going 18s but just couldn't do it.

Could anyone thats fairly good with Photoshop, show what this new matte bronze arc-8 would look like on a titanium silver sedan? It would be much appreciated!

I am wondering about the square fitment of the new et30 offset for the Apex Arc 8 18x9.0 with 255/35/18 square Michelin PSS. My 330i ZHP is on koni fsd/eibach pro kit, stock camber, fenders not rolled (but don't mind minor rolling if needed). I want to be able to run this setup to get better neutral handling and also be able to rotate wheels/tires for longevity. Power wise, I have ESS TS2 installed, will the combination of the TS2 and extra front end grip cause too much oversteer?

Thanks so much if anyone can help answer these questions, I'm in the group buy and it should open very soon!
