I test fit the Racing Harts. They are 19x8 et38. I didn't really mess with the camber. But, based off of my M-Pars fitment, I think I can rebuild them to 19x9 with 3" lips, and 19x9.5 with 3.5" lips and they should fit with out any issues. If I want to create a little bit more work for myself, I could rebuild them to 19x9.5 up front, and 19x10 out back. Rebuilding them to 19x10 would give me 4" of lip. That is a ways off though.

thank you for bringing this touring back from a place where it might be dead! So much better now, I was going to post up that you should black out the edges of the grill, but I see you've already done that! Great looking car man. So sleek without the roof rack and sunroof, it looks different than most tourings... I'm with the rest of the crew, go back to the M Parrallels!

Thanks gents. I do love this car. I still smile every time I walk up to it.

I should have my Style 32's back from the media blaster this weekend. Hoping to drop them off at the powder coaters first of next week. Very excited to finally ditch the Style 73's.

My trim has been swapped out. The trim is for sale. Only fits sedan & touring though.

Style 32's are back from powder coat. Went with a grey rather than a silver, with a little less metallic than OEM. I wanted something slightly different, but not in your face different. Still deciding on tires. But, should have them installed this weekend.

Did you prepare with standard e46 offset or from other series?

did you have to make a hole in the bumper and lip and screw them together?

i'm looking into getting one of those lips , but I've seen them only on m3 and m tech 2, not m tech 1 which I have /:

I will look next time I crawl under my car. The lip came with pre drilled holes it looks like. Not sure if the bumper has the same holes though.

Should have the wheels mounted up first of next week. I bought the wrong metal valve stems. Say it with me folks... measure twice, order once. Doh!

Thank you! Usually, I have a car for a year before I get bored and move on. Not this car. I truly hope I own it for the rest of its life.

Small update. I relocated the stock amp, hopefully to make way for a custom fiberglass enclosure for a 10" sub. The amp is behind a driver's side panel in the hatch, in a small compartment just behind the wheel well. I was able to mount it just below the compartment, opening it up for a custom box. Hopefully that gives me enough volume.

I also installed the matching wrapped lower steering wheel trim. Note to self: M3 steering wheel and the Sport steering wheel are NOT the same. The M3 lower trim fits on the Sport wheel, but there is a 1/4" gap at the lower edge of the trim to the steering wheel rim. Should have done my research. Now, I need an M3 wheel. Oh bummer.

Tires where ordered Friday. Should be arriving at my local tire shop on Tuesday. Should have the refurbished Style 32's mounted up Tuesday night hopefully.

Where amp was (not my picture):

Where amp currently sits:

17" Style 32's have been mounted. Refinished in a battle ship gray powder coat. 225/45-17 front, 245/40-17 rear.

Looks great , yet I would totally re-colour the grills outline to black , would totally look like a monster then.
Regardless , well done mate , she looks stunning.

OEM matte black grill inserts where installed last fall. They do look so much better than the grills that came on the car. Now I really want to black out the window trim though!
