A friend has $1600.00 to spend on his M3. What purchases do you guys recommend? Coilovers have already been sourced. What's next? :eeps:

Now that we have clarified that (..again), what else can you guys think of? Sway bars were a great suggestion.
Either sways or what he said ^^^.m28 said:upgrade the brakes. the pads, brake lines, rotors.
option 3: just save the money, go to the track without any upgrades, then afther the track event, your friend will know CLEARLY what he need. i.e. handling, brakes, or power :evil:SeCoNd-2-NoNe said:Either sways or what he said ^^^.
Option 2: If your looking for power, headers + software.
How much is the Eisenmann Race?USCTrojanGuy29 said:Eibach sways

Hummm, I think they go for about $1,300-$1,400 new but I picked mine up used in mint condition for $1,000.S54_Mongrel said:How much is the Eisenmann Race?
That is probably the worst advice for an upgrade to a track car haha...speedracerlo said:id say just save that for a S/C kit or N/A kit
if your friend has enough patience, AA is working on a turbo that might be released soon

Tell him to go with the UUC swaybarbarians and UUC strut bar :bump:
Bad idea for a first timer. I dont know how much expereience this guy has though.Jeuprx-8 said:a set of r-compounds would make a huge differance than stock tires on a road course track.
This man knows what he's talking about.. But Vaio, the way rcompunds are being made, there are no extensive heating up processes that have to be done now.. They heat up so quick it wouldnt matter :bump:vaio76109 said:Bad idea for a first timer. I dont know how much expereience this guy has though.
Camber plates if they didnt come with the coilovers. Brake fluid(Ate Super blue/TYP 200, Motul RBF 600), brake cooling backing plates.
ALIGNMENT! Corner balance
