I'm interested in purchasing some multi color rings for my 2001 BMW 330i. Anyone has suggestions on which brand would be the best quality (brightest, long lasting, durable, warranty, etc)?
I found Umnitza's Predator Orion V2 Multi-Color LED Angel Eyes E46 fitting the description. Would there be an alternative to these at a lower cost?
An alternative would be cheap ebay ones but those would suck. I think the umnitza predator orion v2 multicolor LED angel eyes are a safe bet and pretty stirdy/reliable check bav toy as well. That's where I got my 6000k predator Orion v2s.
Find a single color that would look good with your color, avoid the hyper blue/green/red IMO, they look like rice. White to bluey white, gold, amber, etc good great.
Looks great, and your right. I was thinking about one of thoes more neutral colors that look more Classy (White, Blue/White, Gold)...BUT...I just love the option to have so many choices.

To be honest I'm looking to make my car something out of Fast and Furios Tokyo drift! And if my car will stand out that much, maybe a little color from time to time would be fun....BUT MOST DEFINITELY I'M LOOKING TO TUNE IT FOR MORE POWER, AND AVOID THE RICE-ING CULTURE.
There is no such thing as "plasma" technology. it's a name for a product.
There are the following technologies for rings:
LED Bulbs (junk), CCFL (a step up), LED (in variations), Fiber Optic + Halogen Bulb (way old school).
LED are the common type of bulbs used now.
There is SMD, COB (referred to as plasma etc.), and some other variants of SMD (like RGB chips).
Multi-color are a very very nice setup with a few limitations: white is not pure white unless you are driving and at 13.8V (stationary is not white enough at 11.8-12.4V), fewer LED with greater "gaps" and you need to do more wiring to set up the system.
However, the Orion V2 are the most reliable multi-color kit there is with a built in controller, Stay FAR FAR away from RF controllers, they will fail and get you caught in the wrong color. RF is a great technology but not in small handheld cheaply made controllers that usually crap out in 2-3 months. Better to have them wired up.
Information:
4 total modes (more later down the line)
* individual color selected (red/green/blue/yellow/amber/white/blue-white/purplish)
* individual colors fade between each other
* individual colors blink between each other
* locked in WHITE
Mode selection is done by switch, with lock out control for white mode (2 button).
Video was taken in the shade but at 3pm on a clear day. pricing click this
It's a 330ci I am retrofitting my front bumper and I hate stock lights I want something smaller I will get plastic honeycomb mesh and will install small fogs
Is there any way I can program only the two inner rings to go on or all four? Who would I see that can help me with that?
